Carrie Johnson was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Scott, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

David Emanuel Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .538. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as First Preparatory Christian Academy only posted a batting average of .333.
