Trinity Academy hasn't had much luck against Hesston recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Knights will head out on the road to take on the Swathers at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
Trinity Academy's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They breezed past Belle Plaine to the tune of 35-0. That looming 35-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Knights yet this season.

Zac Zimmerman produced another solid effort rushing for 56 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also throwing for 155 yards and two TDs. A healthy portion of that aerial production (101 yards to be exact) went to Bryton Baty, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Trinity Academy's defense and their seven sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Camdon Killgore and Cale Kaufman, who racked up six sacks between them.
Meanwhile, Hesston was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Smoky Valley 51-0. Considering the Swathers have won four matchups by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Trinity Academy better keep an eye on Blayne Wilson. He was instrumental in Hesston's win, rushing for 155 yards and three scores on only ten carries. Wilson is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 109 every time he's taken the field this season. Jerick Humphreys was another key passer, throwing for 120 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 83.3% of his passes.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Hesston proved: they limited Smoky Valley to a paltry 1.7 yards per carry. The Swathers didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 11.6.
Hesston didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Joshua Duerksen and Gavin Larson, who each picked up one interception apiece. Duerksen got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Trinity Academy now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Hesston, their record now sits at 4-1.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Trinity Academy has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 174.8 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Hesston struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 196.8 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Trinity Academy was dealt a bruising 55-14 loss at the hands of Hesston in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
