The Thacher Toads will challenge the Foothill Tech Dragons at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Thacher will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
Thacher is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Hillcrest Christian a 15-0 shutout on Thursday. With that win, the Toads brought their scoring average up to 7.3 runs per game.
Kendo Takahashi made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Thacher is 3-1 when Takahashi allows three or fewer hits, but 1-2 otherwise. Takahashi was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
