Football Recap: Minneola Skates Past Deerfield with Ease

Minneola's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past the Deerfield Spartans 60-14. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 44 points or more this season.

Minneola didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Karson Wideman, Ethan Espinoza, and Kaos Aldridge picked up one apiece. Espinoza got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Minneola's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Deerfield, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Minneola will challenge Udall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Deerfield, they will face off against Logan/Palco at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
