There's no place like home for Newman Grove/St. Edward, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Osmond Tigers on Thursday. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Panthers yet this season.

While Newman Grove/St. Edward might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Osmond scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-22, 26-24.

Among those leading the charge was Serenity Strong, who had five aces and three digs. That's the most aces she has posted over her last seven contests. Macy Reardon also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Newman Grove/St. Edward pushed their record up to 9-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Osmond, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.

Looking ahead, Newman Grove/St. Edward will take on Elba on Tuesday. As for Osmond, they will welcome Archangels Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
