After two games on the road, Ocean View Christian is heading back home. They will take on the King-Chavez Community Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The pair have allowed few points on average, (Ocean View Christian: 25.1, the Lions: 28.4) so any points scored will be well earned.
Last Thursday, Ocean View Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against the Lions, but they still walked away with a 36-30 win.
Carmen Palacios had an outrageously good game as she dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Emery Lee, who scored five points along with five steals.
King-Chavez Community played against the Royals and lost via forfeit.
Ocean View Christian is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for King-Chavez Community, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Everything came up roses for Ocean View Christian against the Lions when the teams last played back in December of 2018 as the squad secured a 47-6 win. Does Ocean View Christian have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
