The Enochs Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Davis Sr. Blue Devils at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Enochs will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
On Friday, it was close, but Enochs sidestepped Gregori for an 8-7 win. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Jaguars: they've now won three in a row.

Caden Reeve made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. He is becoming a predictor of Enochs' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 8-1 (and 8-9-1 when he doesn't).
In other batting news, Pierce Vongphakdy was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Davian Garcia, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
Enochs was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .407. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Gregori only posted a batting average of .200.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Davis Sr., who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against Fairfield by a score of 9-5 on Thursday. The win was some much needed relief for the Blue Devils as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Alex Kieffer was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Kieffer was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Kieffer wasn't the only one making solid contact as seven players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Eli Burnham, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Jackson Vogt was another, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
Enochs pushed their record up to 16-10-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.5 runs over those games. As for Davis Sr., their record is now 18-9-1.
