It was a good run, but the Bayard Rustin Golden Knights unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of Kennett by a score of 35-32. Bayard Rustin was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Demons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Despite the loss, Bayard Rustin had strong showings from Jenna Kraft, who scored eight points, and Sara Betchyk, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 11 rebounds. Betchyk hasn't dropped below two blocks for four straight games.
Bayard Rustin's loss dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Kennett, they pushed their record up to 8-4 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Bayard Rustin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Kennett also has no future games currently scheduled.
