There's no place like home for Heritage, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 17-7 win over the Adairsville Tigers on Friday.
A big part of Heritage's victory came down to the chemistry between Cross Williams and his top target Cody Bryan. Williams threw for 179 yards and two touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes while Bryan picked up 100 receiving yards and a touchdown. Bryan was even better on defense, forcing a fumble and making six total tackles in addition to snagging two interceptions.

Despite the loss, Adairsville still got an impressive performance from Xavious Nalls, who picked up 105 receiving yards and a touchdown. Adairsville also got help from Tre Winters, who showed off his sure hands for 85 receiving yards.
Heritage pushed their record up to 6-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Adairsville, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 6-4.
