The Swett Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 65-29 loss at the hands of Salesian College Preparatory. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Swett in their matchups with the Pride: they've now lost eight in a row.
Salesian College Preparatory's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Madalyn Kanazawa led the charge by scoring 23 points along with three steals. Kanazawa is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ayla Rege, who scored 20 points along with eight rebounds.

Swett does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Salesian College Preparatory will head out on the road to square off against the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
