Menlo-Atherton's tournament run continued when they took on Salinas on Monday. The Menlo-Atherton Bears enjoyed a cozy 53-35 victory over the Salinas Cowboys. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

Salinas lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Alice Uchida, who posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Jennifer Rivera, who had seven points.

Menlo-Atherton's record now sits at 6-4. As for Salinas, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Menlo-Atherton will head out to take on Mills at 6:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. As for Salinas, they will head out on the road to face off against North Salinas at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Salinas is facing North Salinas at the right time seeing as North Salinas is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
