Softball Recap: Cache Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Cache entered their tilt with Pauls Valley on Tuesday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 9-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won ten games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Cache's win bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Pauls Valley, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-15 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cache will venture away from home to square off against Blanchard at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions' pitching crew has only allowed 1.3 runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Pauls Valley, they are taking a road trip to challenge Madill at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
