Tucson High Magnet School has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 31 points or more this season.
Tucson High Magnet School can attribute much of their success to Adam Bernal, who scored 15 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Julio Marquez, who scored 13 points.
When it comes to explaining why Rincon/University lost on Thursday, one person who can't be blamed is Abel Munoz-McDaniels. Despite the final result, he scored 14 points. Sam O'Dowd was another key contributor, scoring six points along with ten rebounds and five assists.
Tucson High Magnet School's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 82.0 points per game. As for Rincon/University, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost ten of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

As for Rincon/University, they will be playing at home against Marana at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Marana and Rincon/University are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads.
