With a playoff win on the line, University rose to the challenge on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Windsor Wizards. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Jordan Halley paced University's offense, picking up 19 kills. Halley got some help from Kenley Rudiger and her 39 assists. Finally, Carly Thorpe kept University's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.
Despite the loss, Windsor still got an impressive performance from Avery Smiley, who had 26 digs and three assists. Smiley has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 11 times she's played.
University's win bumped their record up to 24-5. As for Windsor, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-9.
As of now, neither University nor the Wizards have any future games scheduled.
