Paraclete got a great performance from  Jacob Draper as he  struck out ten batters over  six innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. Those  ten  strikeouts gave  Draper a new career-high.
 At the plate,  Julian Trejo was  excellent,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances. Those  two  runs gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Noah Schneir, who  went 1-for-4 with three  RBI and one  double.
Paraclete's victory  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 4-7. As for Serra,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 6-4.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Serra beat Paraclete by a score of  5-3 on Friday.
