Gadsden gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They blew past the Chaparral Lobos 50-20. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Lobos: they've now won seven in a row.

Gadsden got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was JUAN RIOS out in front who rushed for 156 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 9.2 yards per carry. What's more, RIOS posted two rushing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in September of 2024. Another back making a difference was DEION TORRES, who rushed for 82 yards and two TDs on only eight carries.

Looking ahead, Gadsden will host Valencia at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chaparral, they will head out to challenge Hatch Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
