The Genesee Valley Jaguars got the win against the Clyde-Savannah Golden Eagles on Friday by a conclusive 8-2. Considering the Jaguars have won seven games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Genesee Valley and bumps their season record up to 16-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Clyde-Savannah, they dropped their record down to 7-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Genesee Valley will face off against Caledonia-Mumford at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Jaguars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Raiders have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season. Clyde-Savannah does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
