The Eastview Lightning are taking a road trip to  take on the Park Wolfpack  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Eastview is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a five-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
 Having struggled with three  defeats in a row, Eastview finally turned things around against Burnsville  on Thursday. They walked away with  a   19-8  victory over the Blaze.
 The critical scores for Eastview came from  JC Green,  Nathan Schroeder,  and  Schroeder.  Jossy Alebachew was another key player, rushing for 130 yards.
 Eastview's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB  6.5 times.  Kaleb Ngwendson was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up three sackshimself. Eastview got some further help from  Kye Brouchet: he picked up  0.5  sacks and made nine total tackles in addition to snagging   an  interception.
 Meanwhile, Park scored the most  points they've had all season  on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell  57-50 to Hopkins/Eagle Ridge Academy. With that  loss, the Wolfpack now have  a three game overall losing streak to go with their drought on the road.
 Eastview's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
 Everything came up roses for Eastview against Park when the teams last played  back in October of 2023, as the  team secured  a  42-14 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Eastview since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
