 In other batting news,  Meri Hollembeak was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with one  home run, three  runs,  and three  doubles. Those  three  doubles gave  her a new career-high.  Kiera Stroh was another key player,  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances with five  runs, two  stolen bases,  and one  RBI.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Cedaredge beat Basalt by a score of  18-8 later that day.
