Jurupa Hills has struggled against Grand Terrace recently, as their contest on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Grand Terrace's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mikhia Anderson, who dropped a double-double on 33 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Anderson has scored all season. Jayleen Barajas was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with nine steals.
Jurupa Hills' loss was their 11th straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-13. As for Grand Terrace, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 16-7.
Jurupa Hills will square off against Arroyo Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Arroyo Valley has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Grand Terrace won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Bernstein at 1:30 p.m. on January 20th.
