Softball Recap: Elbert County Has No Trouble Against Commerce

Elbert County barely beat Commerce the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Blue Devils put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 11-2 win on Tuesday. Considering the Blue Devils have won five matches by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Elbert County's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Commerce, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Elbert County will venture away from home to challenge Hart County at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Commerce, they will head out to face off against Banks County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
