After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dunmore, the Riverside Vikings were happy to have found some success on Friday. They came out on top against Mid Valley by a score of 48-37. That's another feather in the cap for Riverside, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Mid Valley lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Elise Larson, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Chiara Zavislak was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Riverside has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Mid Valley, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-8.
