Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Saint Francis, their win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-4.
Saint Francis' speedy runners might be the difference in Friday's match. The Lancers have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.9 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory, though, as they've been averaging only 0.9 stolen bases.
