Central Dauphin found their leader in underclassman Olivia Green, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 18 rebounds. Green also posted two+ blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayla Fletcher, who scored five points along with six assists and six rebounds.
Central Dauphin East bumped their record down to 1-3 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.2 points per game. As for Central Dauphin, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.
Central Dauphin East will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Chambersburg at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2024. Central Dauphin and Manheim Central will round out the year against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday at. Manheim Central will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 294th, while Central Dauphin is ranked 84th).
