The ISchool of Lewisville Cougar are taking a road trip to  challenge the Waxahachie Indians  at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. ISchool of Lewisville is coming into the  game hot, having won their last six games dating back to last season.
 Last Thursday, iSchool of Lewisville took their  contest  with ease, bagging  a  102-59 win over Varsity Opponent.
  Jaylen Lawal had a dynamite game for iSchool of Lewisville,  going 6 for 9 en route to 20 points plus eight  assists. The  matchup was  Lawal's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  David Iweze, who  went 5 for 6 en route to 12 points plus eight  rebounds.
 ISchool of Lewisville  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 15  offensive rebounds. That's the most  offensive rebounds they've posted since back in November of 2023.
 Meanwhile, Waxahachie escaped with a win on Saturday against Crowley by the margin of a single free throw,  78-77.
 Waxahachie relied on the efforts of   Michael Gatewood, who  went 9 for 16 en route to 24 points plus four  steals, and   Trae Nunn, who  earned 18 points along with eight  rebounds and five  steals. Gatewood is  crushing it when it comes to points: he's   scored at least 21 every time he's  taken the court this season.  Eddie Williams was another key player,  scoring eight points in addition to eight  rebounds.
 Waxahachie now  has a winning record of 2-1. As for iSchool of Lewisville, their victory was  their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 3-0.
 Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as  the two teams are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. ISchool of Lewisville hasn't had any problem running up the score this season,  having  averaged 76.3 points per game. However, it's not like Waxahachie struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 72.7. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
 ISchool of Lewisville didn't have too much breathing room in their  match against Waxahachie  in their previous matchup  back in November of 2020, but they still walked away with  an  87-83 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for iSchool of Lewisville since the  team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
