Alpaugh extended their losing streak to four on Tuesday, dropping them down to 2-7. They came up short against the Kings Christian Crusaders, falling 15-3. The Buffalos were not able to make up for their defeat to the Crusaders from their previous meeting back in May of 2025.

Alpaugh saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Richard Luna, who went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. With that strong performance, Luna is now averaging an impressive 1.2 stolen bases per game. Another was Carlos Hernandez, who earned two stolen bases.
As for Kings Christian, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-6. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their two-run performance the game before.
On Kings Christian's side, Cooper Stamps was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. Stamps was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.
In other batting news, Jackson Schales was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Daniel Dinkins was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs and one RBI.
Looking ahead, Alpaugh is taking a road trip to take on Tranquillity at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Buffalos' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season. As for Kings Christian, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Wonderful College Prep Academy at 4:15 p.m.
