The Lancaster Eagles will head out to take on the Muir Mustangs at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Lancaster is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season.
Lancaster will bounce into Monday's contest after beating Highland, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Eagles skirted past the Bulldogs 3-1.

Austin Deleuw spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Lancaster's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Adrian Morales, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI. Austin Wood was another, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
Meanwhile, Muir entered their tilt with Pasadena on Friday with ten consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 11. They put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 10-2 win. Considering the Mustangs have won ten matchups by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Luca Cano and Kahlil Rishwain did most of the damage at the plate: Cano went 2-for-4 with five RBI, one run, and one double, while Rishwain went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those five RBI gave Cano a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryant Soriano, who went 3-for-4 with two runs.
Lancaster's record is now 14-11. As for Muir, their record now sits at 14-6.
Monday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Lancaster has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .447. However, it's not like Muir struggles in that department as they've averaged .474. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
