The Palo Alto Vikings will head out on the road to  take on  the Wilcox Chargers at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Palo Alto is coming into the  game hot, having won their last four games.

 At the plate,  Charlie Bates was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with a  home run, three  runs,  and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Coco Vonderhaar, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances.
 Los Gatos typically has all the answers at home, but  on Friday Wilcox proved too difficult a challenge. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  3-2  win over the Wildcats.
 Palo Alto has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won eight of their last nine matches,  which provided a massive bump to their 14-11 record  this season. As for Wilcox, their victory bumped their record up to 15-10.
 Palo Alto skirted past Wilcox  5-4 when the teams last played  back in May of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Palo Alto since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
