The Cabrillo Conquistadores's game last Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 35-20 victory over Templeton. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Cabrillo also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2018.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cabrillo to victory, but perhaps none more so than Natalie McCune, who scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Angeliyah Gonzalez, who scored 8 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals.
The victory got Cabrillo back to even at 1-1. As for Templeton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Cabrillo will square off against Independence at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Templeton, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against King City at 6:30 p.m.
