Fort Collins waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past The Classical Academy Titans 6-0. While the Lambkins didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Lily Padilla made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out six over six innings pitched. Padilla was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in October of 2024.
In other batting news, Fort Collins let Tatum Kottwitz and Elsie Prenni run wild. Kottwitz went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI, while Prenni went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That stolen base marked the first that Prenni has snagged this season.
