Penn Treaty came into Wednesday's game having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They secured a 25-21 W over George Washington on Wednesday. The victory was just what Penn Treaty needed coming off of a 55-19 loss in their prior game.
Aliyah Rogers continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 15 points along with three blocks. That makes it seven consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Penn Treaty's points. Another player making a difference was Destiny Speach, who scored three points.
Penn Treaty's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-9. As for George Washington, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Penn Treaty does not have any more games scheduled as of now. George Washington will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Parkway Center City focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Wednesday.
