Vista PEAK Prep dropped down to 3-5 on Saturday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Strasburg Indians, falling 14-4. Rylie Camarillo was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Amara Herrera was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one triple.
As for Strasburg, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-4. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won five matches by ten runs or more so far this season.
On Strasburg's side, Phebe Johnson made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up four earned runs off five hits.
