Baseball Recap: Serrano's Losing Streak Snapped at Seven Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game, Serrano was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 6-3 win over the Hesperia Scorpions. The victory was some much needed relief for the Diamondbacks as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Logan Wanco was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one stolen base. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Adian Brambilla was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Serrano's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 3-9. As for Hesperia, they dropped their record down to 10-6 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.
