The Shade Panthers will head out on the road to challenge the Cambria Heights Highlanders at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 12 consecutive losses for Shade and three for Cambria Heights.
Last Thursday, things could have been worse for Shade, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 49-32 loss to Conemaugh Valley.
Meanwhile, Cambria Heights came up short against River Valley on Wednesday and fell 52-42. While losing is never fun, Cambria Heights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 318th, while River Valley is ranked 103rd).
Shade bumped their record down to 0-11 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Cambria Heights, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
