The West Warwick Wizards will challenge the Pilgrim Patriots at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. West Warwick is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.
West Warwick is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Rhode Island's top teams: St. Raphael Academy, who was ranked 16th at the time (West Warwick was ranked 13th). On the hitting side, Henry Kearns made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Donovan Vermette also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.
Pilgrim's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for West Warwick, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.
