The Moses Brown Quakers will head out to face off against the Lincoln Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Moses Brown will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
Moses Brown barely beat Mt. Hope the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Quakers were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Huskies on Monday. The Quakers not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 11th (when they won 11-1).
Will Haggerty was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Moses Brown is 3-1 when Haggerty posts two or more stolen bases, but 5-11 otherwise.

Moses Brown's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's game. The Quakers have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Lincoln, though, as they've been averaging only 0.5 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Moses Brown continue to outrun the ball?
Moses Brown suffered a grim 6-0 defeat to Lincoln when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Quakers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
