Football Recap: St. James Skates Past Many with Ease

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only St. James walked away with it. They blew past the Many Tigers, posting a 53-13 victory. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by 32 points or more this season.

Jajuan Jackson produced another solid performance throwing for 328 yards and six TDs on only 14 passes. His passing game has become a key predictor of St. James' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise. 85 of Jackson's passing yards were hauled in by Jakias Villanueva, who also brought in two receiving touchdowns.

The win (which was St. James' fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-2. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 5.6 points on average over those games. As for Many, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

Looking ahead, St. James will challenge Oak Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least 31 points in their last four matchups. Many does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
