Softball Recap: Monday's Win Is Checotah's Third in Last Four Outings

Checotah won the last time they faced McAlester and things went their way on Monday too. The Wildcats came out on top against the Buffaloes by a score of 5-1.

Checotah is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for McAlester, they dropped their record down to 3-8 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Checotah will challenge Glenpool at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for McAlester, they will head out to challenge Ada at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
