Despite the loss, Neuwirth Leadership Academy saw an underclassman step up: Camila Maravilla scored eight points.
USC Hybrid's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-6. As for Neuwirth Leadership Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. USC Hybrid will square off against Animo Robinson at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Neuwirth Leadership Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge New Designs University Park at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. New Designs University Park comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 21 points in their last eight games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
