The Paideia Pythons are taking a road trip to  challenge the St. Francis Knights  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Paideia will be strutting in after a  victory while St. Francis will be coming in after a  loss.
Paideia took a eight-run  defeat the last time they faced off against Fellowship Christian, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Paideia had just enough and edged out Fellowship Christian  4-3 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Pythons have posted  since February 25th.
 Meanwhile, St. Francis fell victim to King's Ridge Christian and their airtight pitching crew  on Wednesday. They lost  15-0 to the Tigers. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
 Paideia is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record  this season. St. Francis' loss dropped their record down to 5-14.
 Paideia came out on top in a nail-biter against St. Francis in their previous matchup  back in April of 2024, sneaking past  11-10. The rematch might be a little tougher for Paideia since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
