WPIAL players were chosen Saturday for the Big 33 All-Star game pitting
the best football seniors in Pennsylvania against the best in Ohio. The
game is slated for early summer in Hershey, Pa.

Hills. The Wolverines are running back
Lafayette Pitts, linebacker
Ejuan Price and defensive linemen
Quinton Jefferson and
Julian Turner.
Joining them are four state champions in Clairton defensive back
Josh Page and defensive lineman
Desmion Green and North Allegheny defensive
lineman
Justin Haser and offensive lineman
Vince Czerniewski. Also on
the team are Gateway wide receiver
Armstead Williams, McKeesport
defensive lineman
Delvon Simmon, Beaver Falls linebacker
Devin Cook,
Mt. Lebanon offensive lineman
Tim Cwalina and Fairview defensive lineman
Jordan Kerner. Kerner is the lone District 10 player on the roster.
SARRA COMMITS, SIMMONS NARROWS DOWN CHOICES
In other WPIAL recruiting news, Greensburg Central Catholic offensive lineman
Bernie Sarra has committed to Navy, while McKeesport defensive lineman Delvon Simmon says his choices are down to Florida, Texas Tech and Oregon, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Simmon had considered making his announcement at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl but decided to hold off.
