Lincoln County's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Shayna Redman, who scored 9 points along with 7 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Chevelle Salmons, who scored 11 points.
Addie Smith had a dynamite game for Mingo Central, scoring 26 points. Dalaney Grimmett was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 3 steals.
Lincoln County's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Mingo Central, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
