Bayfront Charter is 2-8 against the Lions since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Bayfront Charter Sharks will get right back to it and host the Liberty Charter Lions at 4:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Thursday, Bayfront Charter was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 36-30 to the Lions.
Meanwhile, Liberty Charter's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their eighth straight loss. They took a 27-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of Preuss UCSD.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Kylie Pruett, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Kady McHenry, who scored six points.
Bayfront Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Liberty Charter, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.
