The Boyd County Spartans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight defeat. They were the victim of a rough 72-47 loss at the hands of Niobrara/Verdigre. While losing is never fun, Boyd County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 230th, while Niobrara/Verdigre is ranked 70th).

Boyd County will face off against Twin Loup at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Boyd County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 28 on Friday.
