Cochranton is 10-0 against Youngsville since December of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Monday. The Cochranton Cardinals on the road again  and play against the Youngsville Eagles at 7:00  p.m.  on January 22nd. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
 On Thursday, Cochranton was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap  as they fell  36-30 to Maplewood. Cochranton has not had much luck with Maplewood recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
 Despite the  loss, Cochranton had strong showings from  Shelby Mcbryar, who  scored 12 points along with eight  rebounds, and  Marley Rodax, who  scored nine points along with seven  rebounds. That's the first time this season that  Mcbryar  pulled down eight or more   rebounds.
 Meanwhile, Youngsville's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Monday after their fourth straight loss. They fell just short of Jamestown by a score of  46-44. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  defeat Youngsville has suffered  yet this season.
 Cochranton now  has a losing record at 7-8. As for Youngsville, they have  not been sharp recently, as they've  lost six of their last seven contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
 Cochranton didn't have too much breathing room in their  matchup against Youngsville  in their previous matchup  back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a  42-37 victory. Does  Cochranton have another victory up their sleeve, or will Youngsville turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
