A Season-Best Performance from Buddy Wilson Leads Piketon over Adena
On Friday, Piketon got the W thanks in part to Buddy Wilson playing the best football he has all season. Wilson rushed for 189 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 113 rushing yards.
Wilson might have his next game, a road matchup with Westfall, circled on his calendar. When Wilson last faced the Mustangs back in October of 2023, he rushed for 260 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per carry.

Big Game from Stewart As Zane Trace Won 48-12
Zane Trace found a leader in Silas Stewart as the team took down Southeastern on Friday. Stewart did his part (and then some), rushing for 138 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries for the 'W'.
Southeastern's probably not too fond of Stewart given he always seems to get the better of them. Stewart picked up 55 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground the last time he and the Panthers duked it out back in October of 2023.

Cody Braden and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Unioto picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Cody Braden. Braden was unstoppable, making a tackle.
Unioto's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1. Braden and Unioto will welcome Southeastern at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Peyton Dotson Makes It Two for Zane Trace
The second Zane Trace player making an appearance here is Peyton Dotson, and for good reason. He picked up 38 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Coy Came Up Big in Unioto's 43-0 Victory
Isaac Coy was instrumental in extending Unioto's winning streak to seven on Friday. Nobody could stop Coy as he rushed for 35 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 150 yards and a touchdown. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.
This season, Coy has thrown 22 touchdowns while averaging 217.4 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had two passing touchdowns.
