St. Joseph was led to victory by Anna Kreinbrook and Julie Spinelli. Kreinbrook dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds, while Spinelli dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. Spinelli hasn't dropped below 15points for nine straight games. Gia Richter was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Eden Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for St. Joseph, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 13-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eden Christian Academy on the road again on Monday and play against Beaver Falls at 7:00 p.m. on January 22nd. As for St. Joseph, they will head out on the road to face off against Deer Lakes at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Deer Lakes is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.
