After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Parkway, Southwood was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Lincoln Prep Panthers 64-8. The Cowboys have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 35 points or more this season.

Southwood's win bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Lincoln Prep, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southwood will venture away from home to square off against Loyola College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lincoln Prep, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Lincoln Prep Panthers face off against the Jonesboro-Hodge Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
