One of the most notable came from Cyla Clemens, who almost dropped a triple-double on 24 points, nine rebounds, and ten steals. It was the first time this season that Clemens pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Powell, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds.
Surprise Valley has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season. As for Dunsmuir, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-9.
Surprise Valley will take on Hayfork at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hayfork will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Surprise Valley surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dunsmuir, they will head out on the road to face off against Butte Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dunsmuir is coming into the game with six straight wins on the road, meaning Butte Valley will have to defend against a team hungry for a win.
