It was a good run, but Loyola College Prep unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Monday. They came up short against the Ruston Bearcats, falling 14-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Flyers have suffered since March 7th.

Loyola College Prep saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Camden Crossno, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Jake Black also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Loyola College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 16-7-1. As for Ruston, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

Loyola College Prep will face off against Minden at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ruston, they will square off against Glenbrook at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Glenbrook will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Ruston surely won't give up without a fight.
